The Committee will provide a mechanism for developing and maintaining an experimental landscaping for the entrance to and frontage of the Town Transfer Station on Route 20, Boston Post Road.
An interim status report on the efforts and successes of the GLAD Committee shall be presented to the Board of Selectmen in May or June of 2007, and the Board shall vote whether to continue and/or change the work of the GLAD Committee at that time. If successful, the Committee may propose to the Board of Selectmen to continue these types of landscaping principles to other Town-owned sites in Sudbury.
GLAD members shall be appointed by the Board of Selectmen for a term of two years. The committee shall have up to 15 members and all shall be members at large. The Director of Public Works or his representative(s) shall serve as a liaison and resource to the Committee.
