Park & Recreation Department

The Park and Recreation Department offers a comprehensive and varied program of public recreation activities, services, and resources for residents. Programs are self-sustaining and offer an opportunity for quality use of leisure time in a productive and healthy manner. Recreation facilities include the Atkinson Pool, Fairbank Community Center, toddler playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, outdoor skating area (weather permitting), and fields for baseball, field hockey, lacrosse, softball, and soccer. Major recreation areas include Davis Field, Frank G. Feeley Field, and Haskell Recreation Area.

Girls Club!

 This girls only club is the perfect Friday night socialization group for girls with any sort of disability.  Participants will get to have girl talk,  partake in theme nights, use the arcade at the Fairbank Community Center, do nails and make up, sing, dance, watch movies… the sky is the limit! Parents, you are asked to stay on site during this program (free Wi-Fi ) but will not be participating in Girls Club activities. So ladies, if this sounds like the ideal Friday night to you, sign up today!

WHO:              Girls ages 12-16

WHEN:            Friday 5:30-6:30

DATES:          Nov 12, Dec 10 at FCC

                                Nov 5, 19, Dec 3 at CLDS Solutions, Union Ave, Sudbury                

        COST:            $182 per session (includes activity fees)
