Park & Recreation Department

The Park and Recreation Department offers a comprehensive and varied program of public recreation activities, services, and resources for residents. Programs are self-sustaining and offer an opportunity for quality use of leisure time in a productive and healthy manner. Recreation facilities include the Atkinson Pool, Fairbank Community Center, toddler playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, outdoor skating area (weather permitting), and fields for baseball, field hockey, lacrosse, softball, and soccer. Major recreation areas include Davis Field, Frank G. Feeley Field, and Haskell Recreation Area.

Social Skills Music Therapy

Join us for fun and engaging music activities including group instrument play and singing new and familiar songs. Designed for children who are verbal, this group music program will teach and practice social skills through shared musical experiences. Participants will be developing awareness skills and engage with peers in a supportive musical environment. 

Parent participation is required.
