Park & Recreation Department

The Park and Recreation Department offers a comprehensive and varied program of public recreation activities, services, and resources for residents. Programs are self-sustaining and offer an opportunity for quality use of leisure time in a productive and healthy manner. Recreation facilities include the Atkinson Pool, Fairbank Community Center, toddler playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, outdoor skating area (weather permitting), and fields for baseball, field hockey, lacrosse, softball, and soccer. Major recreation areas include Davis Field, Frank G. Feeley Field, and Haskell Recreation Area.

Guitar 101 for Teens

 Do you want to learn how to play the guitar? Teens will learn functional guitar skills in a supportive group environment. You will learn chords and songs to support success and continued interest in learning an instrument. Due to safety ratios, parents must stay on site for the class but will not participate. Must provide your own acoustic or classical guitar.
