Park & Recreation Department

The Park and Recreation Department offers a comprehensive and varied program of public recreation activities, services, and resources for residents. Programs are self-sustaining and offer an opportunity for quality use of leisure time in a productive and healthy manner. Recreation facilities include the Atkinson Pool, Fairbank Community Center, toddler playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, outdoor skating area (weather permitting), and fields for baseball, field hockey, lacrosse, softball, and soccer. Major recreation areas include Davis Field, Frank G. Feeley Field, and Haskell Recreation Area.

Nordic Walking - New!!

 Nordic walking is a highly efficient aerobic fitness exercise.  Safe for everyone, Nordic Walking utilizes specially designed poles to create a low stress workout for the major muscles groups. Ideal for weight loss, Nordic Walking burns up to 46% more calories than walking! Learn new techniques and enjoy the fun and camaraderie of this great workout. 

Rental of poles is included in fee! 

Participants may bring their own poles.
