 The Park and Recreation Department offers a comprehensive and varied program of public recreation activities, services, and resources for residents. Programs are self-sustaining and offer an opportunity for quality use of leisure time in a productive and healthy manner. Recreation facilities include the Atkinson Pool, Fairbank Community Center, toddler playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, outdoor skating area (weather permitting), and fields for baseball, field hockey, lacrosse, softball, and soccer. Major recreation areas include Davis Field, Frank G. Feeley Field, and Haskell Recreation Area.

Public Ice Skating is now open at Featherland Park (weather permitting).

Jewelry Making Workshop - February 27
This 2 hour workshop will be full of making bracelets, anklets, rings, and earrings out of a variety of materials.
Fairytale Ballet - New Session Starts February 25
Dreams do come true! We will learn to dance and act out many stories based on the classic fairytales and Disney favorites (the fatal legends excluded). Discover how learning ballet moves, terminology, & class etiquette can be so much fun!
Kids Just Love Crafts - New Session Starts March 4
Join us for a jammed filled six weeks of ooey, gooey arts and crafts, stories and songs. Make a mess and have some fun!
Budding Artist and a Buddy - New Session Starts March 1
Come and share the joy of creating art together! Unique art activities are specially designed to enhance your child’s learning skills and self expression.
Musical Theater - Mary Poppins - New Session Starts March 4

Chinese Mandarin for Kids Ages 7-12 - New Session Starts February 23
Classes are designed for children with no/little Chinese language knowledge. Classes focus on the real use of Chinese language communication and development.
Chinese Mandarin for Kids Age 3-6 - New Session Starts February 23
This program is designed to help children build an
understanding of the Chinese language, to give them an early advantage and foundation by exposing them to a new language in a fun setting so they learn the Chinese language effortlessly.
Zip Tennis 3 Instruction - New Session Starts February 22
Classes are designed for 7-8 year olds who have had some Zip Tennis experience. Classes focus on rallying, serving and point play.
Pre Zip Tennis Instruction - New Session Starts February 25
Classes are designed for 4-5 year olds with little or no tennis experience. Classes focus on motor skills, balance, agility, racket skills and rallying skills.
Zip Tennis 2 Instruction - New Session Starts February 23
Classes are designed for 6-7 year olds with tennis
experience. Classes focus on rallying skills, serving and point play.
Zip Tennis 1 Instruction - New Session Starts February 23
Classes are designed for 6-7 year olds with little or no tennis experience. Classes focus on motor skills, balance, coordination, agility, racket skills and rallying skills.
Archery Lessons - New Session Starts February 24
This is a Jr. Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) program that focuses on safety, proper shooting form, technique, and follow through. Archers progress through 10 levels of achievement towards the rank of Gold Olympian.
Skyhawks Multi Sports - New Session Starts March 1
Skyhawks multi-sport is designed to introduce young
athletes to a number of sports and allow them to learn and have fun in a variety of arenas.
Swim Lessons starting in March at the Atkinson Pool
Registration for Session B swim programs begins Tuesday, February 9th at 9:00AM for pool members and Thursday, February 11th at 9:00AM for non-members.
Summer Camps and Clinics Registration
REGISTRATION for SUDBURY RESIDENTS for Sudbury Summer, Preschool Pals, CIT Program and Sudbury Adventure Program will begin on Thursday, February 25th at 9:00AM!
February Vacation Studio Art Program
Students will work on drawing, painting, printmaking and clay projects.
February School Vacation Childhood Adventures
Escape for some creativity and adventures! Each day of the week (Tuesday-Friday) will have a theme.
Kids Cool Chemistry - February Vacation
Unlock your inner scientist as we learn cool chemical
formulas in Kids Cool Chemistry. Make slime of many
colors, experiment with chemicals that love water, and chemicals that hate it.
American Girl Doll Furniture and Sewing Workshop - February Vacation
American Girl Doll Furniture Decorating and Sewing Workshop, Create an enchanting bedroom set for your American Girl doll. We will paint and embellish a four poster bed and rocking chair.
F.A.S.T Athletics Ultimate Sports - February Vacation
If you are getting tired of playing the same old sports everyday, this is definitely the program for you.  The non-traditional style of games/competitions will keep all participants on their toes learning new games as they get further into this program. 
Skyhawks Multi-Sport - February Vacation
This multi-sport program gives children a positive first step into athletics. Wiffleball, basketball, soccer and flag football are taught in a safe, structured environment with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun.
Giorgio's Fitness Programs
All programs are either $52 and will allow you to attend 5 classes (3 dodgeball visits) or $102 and will allow you to attend 10 classes (6 dodgeball visits) of a particular program.

Fantastically Fun Fridays
This program is not just for Kindergarteners anymore!!! Kids ages 4-6 are invited to learn how to make fun theme based activities that involve crafts, games, stories and more.

Afternoon Relief
Are there times when you need to get things done and you cannot bring your child with you? Why not drop them off at the Park and Recreation preschool room on Thursday.
Swim and Gym
Come swim in our pool, play games, and make a craft for a fun afternoon of exercise and activities!
Terrific Twos
Children will engage in a variety of age appropriate activities in a group setting. There will be games, free play, arts and crafts, singing, and story-time.
